The weekly catch-up is back and in full effect–the only difference is it has been moved to Mondays.
We here at PSN Fans love news: release dates, gameplay trailers, hardware details… You name it. However we can’t always report on everything that trickles out of the news machine, which is where Weekly News Catch-Up comes in. Here we cover some of the stories that didn’t make it to the front page the first time around.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie (The Examiner)
Coming in this newest installment to the Joe Danger series we can expect to see the normal motorcycle, but we can also expect to see skis, ATV’s, minecarts, unicycles, jet packs, and even a parachute. One of the most exciting changes is the addition of multiplayer, allowing four players to compete at once for the highest score. Although no platforms have been officially announced, we are expecting to see it on the PlayStation Network as that is where Joe Danger got his start.

Red Johnson: One Against All (Press Release)
It’s official, the second installment of the Red Johnson series, One Against All, is on its way to PSN thanks to the nice folks over at NAMCO BANDAI. Red Johnson is a “puzzle-based investigation game” wrapped around a dark and humorous story.
Super Stardust HD (MTV via PlayStation Blog)
Housemarque’s top selling game, Super Stardust HD, is 5 years old and to celebrate, you can now pick up the game plus all three DLC packs for the low price of $7.99, but hurry as this sale ends September 8.
Scourge: Outbreak (The Verge via PlayStation Blog)
Scourge: Outbreak is a new four player third person shooter being made by Tragnarion Studios. According to Omar Salleh, Lead Game Designer, says that they have “worked hard on bringing a polished, fluid and action-packed third person shooter to the PlayStation community”. Each of the four characters, known as the Echo Squad, are unique to the story as each player gets to see their own specific flashback.
Haunting Ground (Siliconera)
Originally released in 2005, will be coming back to life as a PS2 classic. You are Fiona Belli, who has just awakened in the basement of a castle. Now you are challenged with figuring out how you became the owner of said castle and why every “thing” is trying to kill her. Your only trust worthy companion is a dog named Hewey, who will help you as you unravel the mystery.
Way of the Samurai 4 (Gaming Age)
Coming directly from Japan itself, you will be able to download this latest installment to the series as of tomorrow in the US, it will cost $39.99, it is scheduled for an October release in Europe.
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection (Examiner)
Tomorrow, August 21, you can pick up Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on the PS3 or PS Vita, with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker following next Tuesday, August 28.
